Initially established in makeshift structures, the school was a project of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, with a vision to support and uplift disadvantaged children, particularly orphans and those from impoverished families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bukula-adventist-school.info\/?page_id=54\">To learn more about the island click here!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The school serves both day and boarding students and has grown significantly since its inception. Age Range and Grade Levels<\/strong><br>The school provides education to children from the age of 4 through to approximately 16 years, covering kindergarten through to Primary Seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>B. Day and Boarding School<\/strong><br>Bukula SDA Primary School is a mixed institution offering both day and boarding options. The school emphasizes holistic development, nurturing both academic growth and spiritual well-being. It is a God-fearing school, grounded in Christian values, aiming to instill a strong moral foundation in every student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>C. Educational Vision<\/strong><br>The school is dedicated to shaping well-rounded individuals through the following educational goals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To equip students with the skills and values needed to care for themselves and others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To cultivate a sense of responsibility by teaching children how to grow and nurture vegetables and other plants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To instill a strong work ethic by training students in animal care and husbandry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>D. Learning Skills<\/strong><br>The school aims to provide practical life skills that are valuable for personal development and self-sufficiency. Who can attend the school<\/strong>?<br>The school welcomes every child in the abovementioned age range who agree to the values of the school <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>B. Price of school fee for day scholars<\/strong><br>Tuition is UGX 40,000 per month for four months, totaling UGX 160,000 per term, or UGX 480,000 annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>C. Price for tuition and boarding school <\/strong><br>Boarding pupils are required to pay UGX 100,000 per month, totaling UGX 400,000 per term and UGX 1,200,000 annually. Additionally, each boarding pupil must contribute UGX 100,000 twice a year for expenses such as books, writing material, clothing, medicine, and hygiene items, bringing the total to UGX 1,400,000 per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bukula-adventist-school.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/praying-in-class.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-151\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bukula-adventist-school.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/praying-in-class.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.bukula-adventist-school.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/praying-in-class-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bukula-adventist-school.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/praying-in-class-768x346.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 706px) 89vw, (max-width: 767px) 82vw, 740px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HELPING ORPHANS ATTEND SCHOOL<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many orphans wisihing to attend the school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, there are about 60 orphans who need assistance. That means that they have no parents and not relatives nor guardians to support them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are about 40 orphans with guardians or relatives, but these families are struggling financially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About 90 children belong to poor families who struggle to earn the money to pay the school fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sponsorship<\/strong> <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, there are two sponsorships supporting two orphans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With every new sponsorship another child will be able to attend the school. The required annual amount for one sponsorship is similar to the fees for a boarding pupil:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To simplyfy things, every sponsor supporting in Euros, is asked to start with 60 \u20ac the first month and 30 \u20ac every following month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 60 \u20ac in the first month are for different purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>30 \u20ac for expenses such as books, writing material, clothing, medicine, and hygiene items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>25 \u20ac for school fees, lodging and food for the first month<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 \u20ac monthly deposit that will be collected until there are 30 \u20ac and then sent to the school so that every orphan gets an additional material package every six month.
